Carol's Favorite Things******First Post

Hey it works for Oprah.  Every time she has a show or features her favorite things in her magazine ... they fly off the rack.  So, I thought, why can't I pass on some of my favorite things here with you each week.

I'm living on the edge here people.  Here goes:

1.  Boots No.7 Refine and Rewind found at Target.

This is some good stuff ladies.  It isn't expensive and I can tell a difference if I miss a few days.  My skin is much smoother using this product.  You can find  it at Target.

Here is my second favorite thing:

2.  Eye makeup drives me crazy!  I have used almost every concealer under the sun, but finally I found one that works the way it claims it will.  Remember I live in Florida, your makeup can look fine, walk out into the high heat and humidity and game over.  But, this stuff works for me.

You apply a cream with the flatter of the two brushes.  Once applied..you tap it out...even it out under eyes.  Then you go over that with the fluffy setting powder.  It will stay on while swimming, crying and sweating.  You should try it. It is Mally Roncal concealer system.  Foolproof and guarteeed to stay on until you take it off.  I ordered mine from QVC.  It only takes a little.  Check it out.

3.  My third favorite thing is Nailtiques nail protein.  My nails can be awful and if I trim them up and give them a coat of this everyday for a week by the third week my nails are firm and growing nicely again.  I do have good nails.  That is an inherited gift, but I abuse my nails in the kitchen and in the garden.  This will salvage what is left.

Great stuff here!  It has saved my nails more than once.   They have many different formulas choose the one that is right for you.  I have purchased mine at Walgreen and Target.

and my last favorite thing to share is ....
Drum roll.............

My Okabashi Flip Flops!!!

Words cannot express how crazy I am about these flip flops!  They are fantastic if you live in Florida or you are near the beach or out in the garden.
They are great!  You can just wash them off and they don't hold water like other flip flops do. They are dishwasher safe.  You can recycle them.  Check out their web site www.okabashi.com  and they have oka bs that are more stylish and a bit more expensive but very comfortable and I've had my fist pair for 4 years or more and they are like new.
Check them out.  They are so comfortable.
They have a unique support system that massages the bottom of your foot.

So, that's a start.  Please let me know if you use any of these products or if you do intend to use them.  I'll have some more for you all next week.  I'm always finding stuff I am just over the moon over so it won't be difficult.

Godspeed.....Carol-the gardener

  3. I've tried the Nailtiques and you are 100% on target there. I find that my nails are also stronger if I drink a lot of water. Put the two together and you have a huge win. Thanks for the other tips!
