This is my first time to participate on the Tuesday's Tunes. It is hosted by Chrissy over at Life is not always fireflies and hummingbirds. I'm not really sure I understand the format and I apologize if I made a mistake. I wasn't sure if I was suppose to choose a particular genre of music or just something that is inspiring to me. So if I zigged where I should have zagged please forgive me. I'm still learning. I hope you enjoy the song and her voice as much as I do. I sang this song very often while I rocked my Grand baby to sleep when he was smaller.

You know what Carol? What makes a blog interesting is when you zig when you should have zagged. At least that is my opinion. I want to tell you a story. Inspirational Song Saturday for other people on my friends list (when they do it) is a piece of Christian or Gospel music intended to uplift them. Well, that isn't how I roll on my blog. In other words, I couldn't really roll with that. So, I thought about it and decided how I could make it work for me. You have been through at least one Inspirational Song Saturday of mine. It isn't a new idea. I just twisted and turned it into something that works for me. Does everyone appreciate that? Probably not. The thing is that I am totally okay with that. I don't dis their gospel music. If that is how they want to play it on their blog, good for them.
ReplyDeleteThis is your blog, your space, and you get to decide how you want to roll. I really don't think you can do it "wrong." Don't apologize for not fitting into a mold. Ever. In fact, celebrate your uniqueness. If it were me, I would be looking for a way to break the rules and make Tuesday Tunes unique and different on my blog. But that's just me. I can't seem to help myself.
